What would they say?

Hats off to comedians - a sharp bunch!

Always a delight to start a new comedy class.

It is online again -  fantastic! I get to meet people from various parts of the world. Apparently it’s 63 degrees in LA.

Wish I was there...

I really enjoyed the wonderful mix of people last night and loved their eclectic, adventurous and WILD imaginations; who doesn’t love the creative potential of anthropomorphism - giving voice to inanimate objects. If something you use a lot or love could talk about you - what would it say?

If your chair could chat – would it exclaim “Oi, this is my seat!”?

If your mobile could murmur in your ear, what would you hear?

What would your bed whisper at 4am when you're scrolling through Instagram looking at dog memes and giggling at dog zoomies and emptied dustbins? “Knock it off, trying to sleep here, thanks!”

Objects such as a deflated lint cleaner, a much loved lunch box and a banging-on bunch of keys, sprang to life last night. Oooo, and a very sharp knife, plus much much more! It was often edgy material; dark, bold and appropriately amusing – after all – safe and non-judgmental spaces are always created for all participants. And all so inventive and unique.

Please share your own ideas, thoughts or characters you have already created - it’s a fun and funny way of talking about you and your life/experiences through the eyes of an everyday item. My bed would definitely bellow - "keep the noise down!"

I snore.

Have a fun and fantabulous week/end all – catch you on the flipside at one of my classes soon.

As usual, big thanks and love from Maggie and the Comedy Matters team :)
